Narrowing down my favorites was difficult because I think every album has been at the top of my list at one point or another. I'm genuinely in love with everything Jeff Lynne has ever released. So...
I've decided to choose one from each "era" of ELO — their original prog rock sound, orchestral pop, disco, and synth pop. While there is some overlap, these albums still have distinct sounds that I think are worth highlighting.
